A Community-Driven Tribute to Art in Argenteuil

At the heart of Argenteuil, street artist Hopare has unveiled a community-focused mural to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Impressionism. With backing from Urban Signature, this dynamic artwork pays homage to the region's rich artistic heritage while weaving in personal tales from the residents of the Val Sud area.

The Creation of La Rivière Golden

The mural, titled La Rivière Golden, serves as a vibrant homage not just to art history but also as a canvas for the community's voices, ambitions, and collective experiences. The project kicked off with Hopare engaging the community through interviews and anonymous questionnaires, aiming to uncover the dreams and concerns of the locals. Armed with these insights, he drafted two mural concepts and let the residents vote on the design that would best represent their joint vision. La Rivière Golden was the chosen concept, embodying the neighborhood's historical fluidity and the golden threads that unite its people.
