About me

I am Theic, an Uruguayan artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2008, I have dedicated myself to various areas of art, including photography, painting, design, and sculpture. In 2010, together with Florencia Durán, I started the project Colectivo Licuado, which focuses on mural interventions in public and private spaces. Since 2013, this collective has traveled around the world, participating in urban art festivals and artistic residencies in countries such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, India, Germany, and Croatia, among others. My studio work is heavily influenced by classical painting, Greek mythology, and contemporary cinema. My work is figurative, with the human being as its protagonist. Technique and color play a significant role in my paintings, allowing me to create works of realistic character.
