About me

As a Romanian-born contemporary artist currently based in Bucharest, I juggle between creating paintings on canvas for galleries, large-scale murals, and commissioned illustrations for various projects and brands. In both my personal and commissioned work, I blend my appreciation for artists like Rousseau, Matisse, and Grayson Perry with my fascination for Iranian miniatures, Asian carpets, and a love of contemporary illustration, decorative arts, hip-hop, and urban culture. Much like a hip-hop DJ, I sample different elements—surreal imagery, portraits of rappers, luxury cars, brand logos—into a complex and unique iconography that reflects my artistic vision. My art has been featured in numerous group exhibitions around the world, including in Copenhagen, New York, Berlin, Montreal, Ottawa, Salvador, Bangkok, Vienna, Mexico City, Oakland, and Portland. I've also had the privilege of holding solo shows at BC Gallery in Berlin and Mobius Gallery in Bucharest, and painting murals in cities such as Montreal, Bangkok, Las Vegas, Seattle, Bucharest, Paris, and Rabat.
